The 1851 Richards-Mason revolver was a conversion of the 1851 Colt percussion revolver to a breech-loaded self-contained metallic cartridge. Due to the scarcity of original models the Cimarron 1851RM is a favorite of modern-day shootist. The Wild Bill Hickok model is nickel plated and highly engraved with ornate scroll-work. The backstrap features a W.B.
